This round has been insanely difficult. It seems like my body is much more sensitive to things that it wasnt sensitive to in Round 1. This makes me nervous to try anything outside of my comfort zone. Speaking of comfort zone...
Next Tuesday I am going out of town for a business conference. Ill be in a place Ive never been with people Ive never met. I love adventures, however I wont pretend that the thought of not knowing what Im going to have access to food wise doesnt make me nervous.
Im taking a canister of slim with me, and of course Ill be able to drink endless amounts of water, but there are a couple event sponsored dinners I have to attend for networking purposes. Ill have to do my best at those dinners to keep things simple. Meat, no sauce. Salads, no dressing.
As for the rest of my meals, the last thing I want to do is show up and find that Im 10 miles from the nearest healthy option, so I developed a plan.
You know me, I never like to do anything without some sort of plan. I did a search on Yelp for some salad bars in the area. I found one that is affordable, has great reviews, and is close to the hotel! JACKPOT!
As long as I have a salad bar, I will be able to stick pretty closely to protocol. After all the crazy things Ive been going through on the scale, Im trying to avoid worsening the situation by cheating.
Im still a few days out from the trip, but it feels like its right around the corner. Im hoping airport security doesnt find my bottle of HCG and can of Vanilla Slim too suspicious.
Ohio here I come!
