The countdown to my third round of HCG has begun. Friday marks my first loading day and Sunday marks my first VLCD. Im excited and nervous. It seems like the closer I get the harder maintenance has become. I havent done so well this last week and Ive put on a few pounds. Its definitely frustrating and I know that I need to sort this all out before I start my next round. Thats a different blog for a different day. Today I wanted to share some tasty recipes with you.

Strawberry Mint Lemonade
1 lemon
1-2 c. water
a sprig of mint
stevia to taste
Puree strawberries and mint in a small food processor. Cut lemon in halves and juice into a large glass. Stir in strawberry mixture, add water and stevia to taste. Chill before drinking.
Chicken Broccoli Soup
2 c. water
100 g. chicken
1 clove garlic
salt & pepper
onion powder
Puree 1 cup of broccoli in a food processor. Chop other cup into small pieces. Set aside. Chop chicken into small pieces. Boil in 2 cups water until done. Add in seasonings and broccoli. Heat well and add additional seasonings to taste.
Baked Apple Chips
1 apple
1 t. cinnamonstevia to taste
lemon juice
Preheat oven to 215 degrees. Slice apple on a mandolin and place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle lemon juice, cinnamon and stevia on slices. Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
