4 steps to skinnier jeans

So I broke down. I went and bought two pairs of jeans on my lunch break. All my current pairs are too BIG!

When I started my journey, I was wearing a size 24. Wow, just typing that feels unreal. Today I purchased 2 pairs of jeans that are a size 16. :) Typing that feels like Christmas morning.

I also bought a Utah Jazz shirt that is a womens extra large! I cant remember the last time I bought a shirt that was an extra large. Seeing the scale go down is motivating, but buying clothes you never thought youd fit in again is even more motivating.

It was heartbreaking walking into a store and always having to go to the very back to the plus sized section that had hardly any selection. Ive always liked clothing, and now shopping is becoming more exciting because I have so many options!

A couple weeks ago I asked what you guys do for clothes during the in-between stages of losing weight. Some of you go to thrift stores, some of you shop clearance racks. I decided to shop at Forever 21. They have jeans for about $14 bucks. I can live with $14 every two weeks or so. When I reach my goal weight, you better believe Im going to splurge on a pair of Silvers.

The HCG Diet is a great way to slip into some skinnier jeans, but how do you stay focused long enough to get there? Here are my 4 steps to skinnier jeans.

1. Incentives - Buy a pair of jeans a size smaller that what you wear, put them somewhere you can see. When you can fit into the jeans, you can buy a top to match.

2. Drink water - Staying hydrated helps you stick to your diet. Drink water when you have cravings, it will take your mind of the craving and make you feel full.

3. Exercise - On the HCG Diet you cant go crazy with the exercising, but a little exercise here and there can tone up your body. Try doing squats and calf raises to get leaner legs. This will boost your confidence and help you get excited to dress those sexy legs in denim!

4. List your reasons - Write down all the things you hate about wearing a larger pant size, then next to those write down how youll feel when you change it. Its a therapeutic process that keeps your mind on your goal!

How many pant sizes do you want to go down? What are your favorite brands of denim?
